Confronting the past 

Mary Pain, thirty-something, has no choice but to return to the hometown where she hasn’t set foot for years. A town she escaped from in order to build herself up and live her life in freedom, far from family secrets and the prejudices of its residents. She will have to face social pressure, the weight of not fitting in, and her failure. And above all she will have to confront the loose ends of her past.
